Rachel began her journey into the healing arts twenty five years ago while working professionally with show horses. While witnessing her coworkers using holistic therapies to keep their horses in optimum health and seeing extraordinary results this sparked an interest into learning the arts herself. She began studying equine massage and Reiki working with horses as well as other animals while witnessing countless recoveries from injuries and behavior issues. She then began practicing energywork on herself and others which opened up pathways into the depths of how the energetic system functions and how releasing energy stagnation and blockages can open up entire worlds for healing and positive change. In 2003 Rachel decided to study at the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy for a two year course in Clinical Massage Therapy and to fulfill the hours required to sit for the New York State licensure exam. Combining energywork and massage therapy was the beginning of a long continuous journey into the vast world of endless modalities of bodywork and energywork. Rachel studied neuromuscular massage, acupressure/shiatsu, medical and oncology massage, end of life massage, lomi lomi massage, biodynamic craniosacral therapy, completed three modules of Dr Peter Levin somatic experiencing training to deeply understand how trauma affects the body and nervous system and how to safely hold space for trauma. She has countless other energywork modality certifications as well. Since 2005 Rachel has been combining all of her training, knowledge and sensitivities professionally working with clients gaining long term experience into the understanding of the physical body as well as the energetic bodies and how trauma, stress and emotional patterns can create imbalances as well as how to gently release them. In 2013 Rachel began a journey into a shamanic training of contemporary core shamanic practices then continued on to the advanced shamanic training, She has also gone deeply into her own ancestral lineages of earth centered healing practices. In 2019 Rachel began formal studying the Akashic Records and is a certified Akashic Records Reader. Rachel is also a physical and emotional empath, and a medium bridging the worlds of spirit with this time and space. She is available for Virtual Akashic Readings and Healing Sessions, Shamanic healing, Reiki, Spiritual Mentorship as well as Massage and Bodywork, Land, home and property clearings.
